Last Saturday I attend a Stock Market seminar at Kingwood Inn Kuching which was done by two Futures Broker from KL. The Course was quite fruitful and I learn some new stuff again. I have been appointed as the Head of the Investment & Traders Club that was formed by the course and will dedicated myself to help the follow course mates to learn more about Trading Stocks & Futures.
Here are a few things that you need in order to start Trading Stocks & Futures.
1. Some Trading capital. Don't trade too small and don't trade too big. Trade with Capital that you can spare.
2. Find a good Equity/Futures Dealer that can really give you good service. Don't bother about the cheap commission that they can offer you. What we want in the end of the day is quality service and good advise. Not someome that's has 2000 customers and too busy to even give you good advice.
3. A Notebook that you can easily carry around with 3G Mobile Connection easier for you to trade or share trading skills. A USB Thumb Drive to copy important notes and information.
4. Charting Softwares like Metastock, with End of Day Data for Equities. OSK188 OMS is free and live but however, you can't do formula sorting with it as its just a Chart Viewing Software. NextView & Telequote is the best tool available for charting.
5. Day Traders will need NextView or Telequote as they are very important to chartist doing trend plotting and finding Resistance and Supports.
6. When they market is trading sideways, take a break and see how it goes in the afternoon. Too much frequent of in and out will burden you with Transaction Cost.
